Workup 12th Demo Day: Celebrating Innovation, Growth, and Impact

On 19th of September, Workup held its 12th Demo Day, marking yet another successful milestone in supporting innovative startups in their journey to scale. A vibrant evening filled with groundbreaking ideas, inspiring pitches, and real-world business success stories, Demo Day offered a snapshot of the thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in Turkey. The event was a testament to the collective efforts of İş Bankası, the founding partner, and Tenity, which manages the Workup Entrepreneurship Program, to foster the next generation of tech-driven startups.

A Milestone in the Startup Ecosystem

At the heart of Workup’s mission is the goal of spreading technology-oriented business practices across globally. Demo Day was the perfect reflection of this objective, showcasing nine startups from Workup’s 12th Batch and Workup Agri’s 3rd Batch, who have excelled in the six-month acceleration program. Collectively, these startups demonstrated an impressive threefold growth in revenue.

Among the evening's highlights was the announcement that two startups—Shippn and Magfi—had closed successful investment rounds during the program, with a third company poised to announce a completed investment deal on Demo Day. These developments brought the total number of Workup’s investment-backed startups to three for this term.

Key Program Achievements:

  • Nine startups from Workup's 12th and Workup Agri's 3rd Batches graduated this year.
  • With this Demo Day, the total number of Workup graduates has now reached 141.
  • Workup has collaborated with 57% of its alumni, establishing lasting partnerships and driving mutual success.
  • A total of 66 graduates have secured $35 million in funding.
  • Workup has proudly graduated 67 startups featured in Fast Company’s #Startup100 2024 list.

The Demo Day stage shone a spotlight on some of the most innovative and growth-oriented startups to come out of Workup’s latest batch:

  • Zuzzuu: A versatile AI-powered platform for customer journeys, campaigns, and games, Zuzzuu is revolutionizing how companies drive revenue growth and engage customers.
  • Ancient Greens: Focused on ancestral seeds and good agricultural practices, Ancient Greens delivers nutritious and sustainable food products blending tradition with innovation.
  • Soilbiom: A forward-thinking startup that brings nature-respecting practices to agricultural technology, providing nutritious, sustainable, and easy-to-use food solutions.
  • Shippn: A global platform enabling users to shop anywhere by utilizing local hosts for delivery addresses, fostering a community-driven approach to e-commerce logistics.
  • Magfi: The first platform of its kind, Magfi allows brands to reach communities on messaging platforms like Telegram, Discord, and WhatsApp, offering an innovative way to advertise.
  • Korvo: This all-in-one e-commerce SaaS platform empowers content creators with tools to effectively sell and scale their businesses.
  • Branchsight: A digital marketing platform specializing in hyper-localized advertising, Branchsight helps multi-location brands tailor their messaging to individual branches and audiences.
  • Trendbox: Collecting real-time sales data from points of sale, Trendbox enables businesses to create actionable insights and responsive strategies based on up-to-the-minute consumer trends.
