Be Part of the Change: Sustainable Growth Program Applications Due January 17!

Applications are now open for the Sustainable Growth Program, which is being held for the fourth time this year!

The Sustainable Growth Program (SGP) was initiated in partnership with HSBC and WWF-Türkiye and has been designed and implemented by Tenity since 2020. Its goal is to accelerate social entrepreneurs' impact on climate action.

This open innovation program targets Turkish startups committed to advancing UN SDG Goal 13, "Climate Action." By focusing on these ventures, the program aims to cultivate innovative and sustainable solutions, fostering significant environmental change. The Sustainable Growth Program's curriculum is crafted to meet the specific needs of climate-focused enterprises. It includes tailor-made masterclasses, workshops, wargames, and roundtables designed to enhance participants' knowledge and strategic thinking. These educational components are complemented by direct engagement with Tenity's network of investors and mentors.

The program provides networking opportunities, connecting participants with essential climate and startup organizations within the ecosystem. It fosters collaboration and innovation for scalable solutions to climate challenges. The Sustainable Growth Program prepares startups to lead and drive significant environmental change through strategic networking and support.

Held primarily online, the program uses digital platforms to maximize reach and inclusivity. Key events like the Kick-Off day, Demo Day, and selected meetings will take place in Istanbul, merging virtual engagement with essential in-person interactions. This hybrid model ensures participants receive continuous support and benefit from crucial networking opportunities in a dynamic setting.

Over the past three years (2020-2022), the Sustainable Growth Program has demonstrated significant growth and success. We received 350 applications, with 50 startups selected for our pipeline and 31 ultimately participating in the program. Participants benefited from 300 mentoring and 200 hours of training and workshops. The program also registered 2,500 event attendees, reflecting strong community interest. Guided by 35 dedicated mentors, these startups have been equipped with the tools and insights needed to drive impactful change in climate action.
